Musica Viva presents their season finale concert "A Potpourri of Music for Clarinet, Strings and Piano" on Friday, March 29, 2019 at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation.
Our audience is sure to be delighted with the musical selections to be performed on this season finale concert.
Musica Viva welcomes clarinetist Nikola Djurica from Serbia; violinist Jeffrey Dyrda from Canada, and violist Amadi Azikiwe from New York, to perform with David Ehrlich, violin; Benjamin Wyatt, cello, and Teresa Ehrlich, piano. Mozart’s Clarinet Quintet; Menotti’s Trio for Clarinet, Violin and Piano; Wagner’s Adagio for Clarinet Quintet, and Prokofiev’s Overture on Hebrew Themes will be featured.

Musica Viva is organized to promote awareness and appreciation of chamber music specifically, and the arts in general. Since 2001 Musica Viva has been providing chamber music performances by internationally-acclaimed musicians for communities in the New River Valley and throughout Southwest Virginia.
We strive to provide five chamber music events per year. Musica Viva was created in recognition that access to the arts, in its many manifestations, is universally cited as central to the quality of life in a community.
Blacksburg-based Musica Viva is a registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.
