Musica Viva presents the concert "Love is in the Air – Music of Schumann and Brahms" on Sunday, February 17, 2018 at the Squires Recital Salon on the campus of Virginia Tech.

Avanti Ensemble members David Ehrlich, violin, Benjamin Wyatt, cello, and Teresa Ehrlich, piano, are joined by guest violist, Ulrich Eichenauer, appearing for the first time on Musica Viva. Program includes the beautiful Schumann Piano Trio in d minor, and the dramatic Brahms A Major Piano Quartet.

Musica Viva is organized to promote awareness and appreciation of chamber music specifically, and the arts in general. Since 2001 Musica Viva has been providing chamber music performances by internationally-acclaimed musicians for communities in the New River Valley and throughout Southwest Virginia.

We strive to provide five chamber music events per year. Musica Viva was created in recognition that access to the arts, in its many manifestations, is universally cited as central to the quality of life in a community.
