The Christiansburg Department of Parks & Rec presents the 2018 Tony L. Huddleston Trout Rodeo on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at the Izaak Walton Facility.
Schedule:
• 12:00-2:00 pm: Registration
• 2:00-4:00 pm: Fishing
• 4:00 pm: Awards and Giveaways
Join us and test your child’s fishing ability along with giveaways and prizes. More than 300 fish will be stocked in the local Izaak Walton pond for the rodeo. Prizes will be awarded for 1st-3rd place in each age bracket as well as for the biggest and smallest fish. A free lunch will also be provided.
Giveaways include a bike, drone, and Frank's Cinebowl Prize Pack. We will also be raffling off Virginia Tech football tickets, Radford University basketball tickets as well as gift cards.
The event is designed for ages 4-12 years old.
Admission is free.
The Izaak Walton Facility is located at Izaak Walton Lane in Christiansburg, VA off of Den Hill Road.
Note: The event was originally scheduled for Saturday, October 13th, but had to be rescheduled due to weather.
