The Giles County Community Chorus presents a concert titled "Christmas Comes to the Village" on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at the Pearisburg First United Methodist Church.
Schedule:
• 5:00-6:00 pm: Handmade Christmas Decoration & Craft Sale
• 6:00-7:15 pm: Free Concert
Songs will include favorites like "No Golden Carriage", "No Bright Toy", "Sweet Little Jesus Boy" and "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas". There will also be a “speed reading” overview of several Christmas songs, called "Christmas Comes Again… in About Three Minutes" specially designed for short attention spans.
We will also be offering beautiful handmade Christmas decorations for sale from 5:00-6:00 pm.
This is a family and kid friendly event that will be filled with holiday cheer!
Admission to our Christmas concerts in Giles County is free, but donations are welcome.
Any money raised beyond our regular operating expenses will be used to make sure no member misses the Biltmore trip for lack of funds.
First United Methodist Church is located 1101 Valley View Drive in Pearisburg, VA.
