Description:
The Virginia Tech Union with HokiePRIDE and the Black Student Alliance presents hip hip artist Young M.A. in concert on Friday, November 30, 2018 at Burruss Auditorium on the campus of Virginia Tech.
Young M.A delivered one of the hottest records of late, with her now RIAA certified triple platinum single, “OOOUUU,” which has amassed over 78 million SoundCloud streams and 244 million YouTube plays in the past year. “OOOUUU” peaked as the #1 record on the Urban Music Charts and #23 on the Rhythmic charts.
M.A first stormed onto the music scene with what’s now over 10.6 million YouTube views and 94 million+ Facebook views on her “Brooklyn Chiraq Freestyle” video. The 25-year old MC from Brooklyn, NY broke out in 2016 with her release "SleepWalkin" which has been viewed over 1.3 million times.
With mesmerizing freestyles and appearances on Funkmaster Flex’s Hot 97 show, Power 105’s ’The Breakfast Club’, Sway In The Morning, the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the Wendy Williams Show….M.A has no shortage of believers and supporters. After performing at the MTV Woodies at SXSW (March, 2017); this summer M.A is nominated as "Best New Artist" by MTV for the 2017 VMAs and has appeared on both MTV's Safeword and Wild N Out to further her national TV footprint.
Already amassing over 2.6 million followers on Instagram, 1.3 million+ subscribers at YouTube, with over 390 million video views, 944,000 followers on Facebook and 121 Million+ SoundCloud streams, few young artists are making such an impact. She is living out loud and proud with no fear of judgement, her music is clearly standing out.
