The Meadowbrook Public Library presents a Meet Author Event with Tim Thornton on Saturday, February 2, 2019.
Award-winning local writer Tim Thornton will be speaking about being 2018's Writer by Bus and his collection of essays inspired by the sights, sounds, people, and neighborhoods experienced by local public transit users every day titled "The Walking Man's Best Friend".
Tim Thornton is an award-winning local writer. He teaches English Composition and Appalachian literature at Virginia Western Community College.
Tim lives in Shawsville, VA with his family.
