Hip Hop Studies at Virginia Tech presents Digging in the Crates: Hip Hop and Gender Part 3: The Return of the BGirl on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Newman Library's Multipurpose Room on the campus of Virginia Tech.
Join hip hop practitioners, scholars and fans as we explore the intersection of hip hop culture and gender. Graffiti artist Meme CBS, dancer BGirl Macca, emcee Lioness (Virginia Tech Hip Hop Hall of Fame & Virginia Tech Class of ‘07), Virginia Tech faculty and students, and the local hip hop community will all weigh in.
Performances and pizza included.
Admission is free and all are welcome.
