The Alexander Black House & Cultural Center presents a Scotch Tasting with the Scotch Hunters on Wednesday, March 6, 2019.
The Scotch Hunters, Steve and Don, will lead a tasting session in the beautifully restored Alexander Black House & Cultural Center. They will introduce five distinctive malts from different regions of Scotland, selected especially for this event. Hors d'oeuvres will also be provided. Participants can expect to gain an appreciation of the rich variety of tastes in all single malts.
Steve Janosik and Don Creamer have been close friends since the mid-1980's. They both developed an interest in single malt scotches, which eventually grew from a hobby to a passion. Before they knew it, they were cataloging their tasting notes and tracking their preferences to share their extensive research with others. In 2001, they created www.scotchhunter.com which now includes more than 300 single-malt scotch reviews.
