Jersey Mike's Subs in Blacksburg, VA presents Jersey Mike's Day of Giving to benefit the Intellectual Disabilities Agency of the New River Valley on Wednesday, March 27, 2019.

Jersey Mike's in Blacksburg will donate 100% of the proceeds to Intellectual Disabilities Agency (IDA).

More than 1,520 Jersey Mike’s locations across the country are joining forces with more than 200 local charities for the company’s 9th Annual Month of Giving fundraising campaign. Last year’s Month of Giving raised more than $6 million for local charities nationwide, and this year Jersey Mike’s wants to break last year’s record-setting total.

The Intellectual Disabilities Agency of the New River Valley provides a variety of programs including social, recreational, educational activities throughout the year for children and adults with an intellectual disability who live in the New River Valley area of southwest Virginia. Such programs address the human need for a balanced life that combines not only rest and work, but also meaningful leisure pursuits.

The agency, started by parents who were seeking services and programs for their loved ones, believes individuals deserve access to opportunities and resources available to all others. Therefore, our agency also provides advocacy supports to promote such access.
