Description:
The Virginia Tech Alternative Transportation presents a Bike to Campus Day on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at three locations on the campus of Virginia Tech.
The Alternative Transportation Department will be hosting Bike to Campus Day to celebrate commuters who choose to bike, encourage students and faculty to choose alternative transportation, and raise awareness about the Hokie Bike Hub where assistance and tools for bicycle maintenance are free of charge.
Three pit stops will be set up on campus at the Drillfield, McBryde Hall, and the Duck Pond Gazebo. Take a break at one of them on your way to class for free refreshments, a chance to win a Bike to Campus shirt, information on alternative transportation, and assistance with minor bicycle maintenance.
In addition, the Hokie Bike Hub (in the Perry Street parking garage) will be open as usual from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm.
