New River Valley Community Services (NRVCS) Prevention presents the program "Addiction: A Community Conversation" on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at the Jessie Peterman Library.
Understand the science of addiction, hear about available treatment options and messages of recovery. A free dinner is included with the program.
NRVCS Prevention will be hosting a series of upcoming community dialogues about substance misuse and addiction.
Admission is free however registration is required.

According to the agency’s Communications & Outreach Coordinator, Mike Wade, “Addiction: A Community Conversation,” will be offered in all five jurisdictions served by NRVCS. Wade explains that each event will feature presentations on the science of addiction and available treatment options, as well as recovery. The events will also include a panel discussion that will provide an opportunity for audience members to ask questions or share concerns.
