Latin Link at Virginia Tech presents their 15th Annual Culture Show titled "Sabado Gigante" on Saturday, March 30, 2019 in the Graduate Life Center Auditorium on the campus of Virginia Tech.
Join us in a night where we pay tribute to one of the biggest Latino shows in history while we share our culture to the student body and and local community.
This year's event will comprise of several student performances that will "compete" against each other for a prize. The groups performing will be singing, playing instruments, and dancing to other cultural dances such as bachata, reggaeton, salsa, zouk and merengue.
We will also have special performances by Salsa Tech, Ole, and special guest performers including JMU's Grupo Candela. There will be surprises and raffles, and a show you won't want to miss!
Admission is free and all are welcome.
Latin Link at Virginia Tech was founded in 2001. Latin Link's mission is to unite the Latino community at Virginia Tech and promote Latino culture to the student body. This is achieved by putting on cultural performances, executing thought provoking programs and creating bonds between people.
