Hotel Floyd continues the 2019 "Music in the Mountains" Concert Series with Acoustic Garcia on Thursday, October 10, 2019.

Acoustic Garcia honors the acoustic tradition and side of Jerry Garcia with a range of songs, some familiar and others more off the beaten path, by using their Appalachian rooted acoustic skills and harmonies to produce a woven tapestry of sounds that return the listener to those olden Dead days when listening to music was more like embarking on a mystical journey. Deadhead Pickers feature Dave Fason, David Cannaday, Stella Trudel Stephen McCartney, Brad Collier and Alan Graf.

The concert series are free music events and everyone is welcome.

Each Thursday, May - October, you'll find a free concert in the Hotel Floyd Amphitheater or the Warren G. Lineberry Park and some barbecue or other tasty treats close by. It's a great time to kick off your shoes or grab a rocking chair for some foot-tappin' and a little rockin' goodness.

The concerts are rain or shine. Music will be moved indoors in the event of inclement weather.
