My Kid Brother is an independent band from Northern Virginia, founded when the celestial space gods called upon Chris, Dylan, Lindsey, Sam, and Christian to go forth and create a band in the spring of the year of our lords, 2016. Focused on originality and genuine lyricism, My Kid Brother fuses together elements from rock and roll, indie, folk and blues to create a sound that is their own.

https://www.instagram.com/mykidbrother/Originally from Buffalo, NY, Fuel on Fire figured they’d get twice as good at their instruments if they’re fingers weren’t frozen for half the year so they moved to Key West, Florida. It turned out to be a good call for the band. There were a lot of gigs to be had in the Keys and it allowed them to get tight as a band – really tight, so they spent over five years honing their show in the southernmost.
They’re often compared to like Coldplay, U2, OneRepublic, and Twenty One Pilots, but their sound and their show is uniquely their own.
Oh, and speaking of good calls, if you’re invited to take the ice with these innocent-enough looking fellows, make sure you know what you’re getting into. Hockey’s no joke when you’re born in the snow. As far as this author knows, they’re all still sporting their God-given teeth…so far.
Ben, Edward, Joe, Kurt, and TJ recently moved to Nashville, TN where they’ve been working with the music city’s best songwriters and producers as they prepare to take their career to the next level. In other words, catch them while you can!

The 5:55 set out to create music which would fill the void of rock in the popular music scene. After a year of playing covers ranging from "Baba O' Riley" to "All the Small Things" in bars throughout Virginia, the group entered the studio to record original music.

https://www.instagram.com/thefivefiftyfive/Camp Howard is an experimental indie-rock quartet based in Richmond, VA fronted by songwriters Nic Perea and Wes Parker. Bilingual member Nic Perea, who is originally from Mexico, contributes songs in Spanish that shape the band's sound with a Latin influence. Matt Benson and Brian Larson, both graduates of the jazz program at VCU, hold the group close together with their undeniable technical talents.
The band released its first record in 2016 with the help of local friends Citrus City Records and Crystal Pistol Records. The group began to tour up and down the East Coast in support of their first release. The band’s efforts were rewarded in the summer of 2018 with a support tour opening for Stone Temple Pilots. Camp Howard has continued to tour and grow with an emphasis on tight musicianship and honest self-expression.
