Solely Swing at Virginia Tech presents their Polka Dot Dance on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at the Graduate Life Center Multipurpose Room.
Schedule:
• 7:00 pm: Beginner Lindy Hop Lesson
• 8:00-11:00 pm: Social Dance
Break out your dresses and short sleeve shirts (as long as they have polka dots on them) because we're hoping for great weather.
The beginner lesson starts at 7:00 pm and will include the basics along with some cool moves to keep you dancing all night.
Admission is free. That's right, you can learn how to dance, enjoy great jazz, and dance all night at no cost!
As always, no partner or experience required. All are welcome.
Solely Swing is the swing dance club at Virginia Tech. Full of passionate, fun, and friendly dancers, we travel the world (or more accurately, the surrounding area) to learn new dance skills and theories and meet new people.
We invite you to come out to our dances at Virginia Tech and fall in love with our laid-back and welcoming dance scene!
