The Jessie Peterman Library presents an Author Talk with Joyce Hill Esterhuizen of "A Penny In My Pocket" on Monday, April 29, 2019.
The annual Friends of the Library meeting for Montgomery and Floyd Counties will host Joyce Hill Esterhuizen, author of "A Penny In My Pocket".
"A Penny In My Pocket" Synopsis:
A school assignment to look for an old penny opens up a world of adventure and living history for a group of students. Join them as they search for old pennies, hold them in their hands and wonder: Who held them when they were new?What was this country like? With each penny found, more history comes alive!
There will be a short business meeting after Joyce Hill Esterhuizen’s talk.
Refreshments for this program are provided by the Friends of the Library.
