Description:
The Virginia Tech School of Performing Arts presents the 2019 Festival Of Bands on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at the Moss Arts Center at Virginia Tech.

Enjoy a full day of Virginia Tech band music with the Campus Band, Symphony Band, Wind Ensemble, Highty-Tighties, and the Blacksburg Community Band.

This year's performances will feature the music of Virginia Tech music faculty member James Sochinski to celebrate his retirement. In addition, guest artists Jay Crone (trombone) and the Escape Ten percussion duo will join the Wind Ensemble for their performance.

Come for just a part or spend the whole afternoon!

The cost is $10.00 for the general public and $7.00 for students.

Purchase advance tickets through the Squires ticket office. Tickets will also be available at the door beginning one hour prior to the performance.
