Chateau Morrisette presents Dinner in the Vineyard on Saturday, June 22, 2019.
Savor the first blush of summer in our vineyard with a family style dinner with a backdrop of string music, Blue Ridge summer verdure and conviviality.
Enjoy a short walk through the vineyard to a light reception beginning at 5:30 pm with dinner service to follow at 6:00 pm.
Dinner Menu:
Appetizers
• Cantaloupe & cucumber gazpacho with pickled shrimp
• Crostini with housemade ricotta and garden herbs
• Goat cheese stuffed piquillo peppers
Main Courses (served family style):
• Grilled romaine salad with corn, sun dried tomoatoes, and buttermilk herb dressing
• Grilled loch duart salmon
• Watermelon and feta cheese
• BBQ heritage pork cheeks
• Grilled eggplant with honey and rosemary
• Squash & zucchini with basil, mint and parmesan
Dessert:
• Grilled lemon pound cake with summer fruits
Dinner will last about two hours and include a glass of Vin Gris, with other wines available for purchase by the bottle or glass.
