Description:
The Blacksburg Museum and Cultural Foundation presents the 5th Annual Gospel Sing, part of the New Town Festival series and the 2019 Mountains of Music Homecoming, at the St. Luke & Odd Fellows Hall in Blacksburg, VA on Saturday, June 8, 2019.
The afternoon will be filled with singing, dancing, and fellowship as local groups and soloists perform their favorite current and old-time gospel favorites.
Former residents of New Town, an African American neighborhood in Blacksburg during the time of segregation, will participate in a brief panel discussion to share what life was like living in New Town.

• 2:55 pm: The Penrods
• 3:35 pm: The Berger Family

The event is free, though donations are encouraged.
Food and refreshments will be available for purchase.
