The Blue Ridge Heritage, Inc. presents the Kid’s Pollinator Garden on Saturday, June 8, 2019.
Join us as we learn all about the importance of pollinators and the gardens that support them. We will be involving children and their parents as they create a pollinator garden on an established area of lawn at the Blue Ridge Heritage Education Center.
Experts from Extension, Master Gardeners and Master Naturalists will guide the complete process of making a 10-foot by 10-foot perennial flower garden to benefit wildlife.
The event is free, however it is limited to the first 30 children. To register, contact Wayne Kirkpatrick via email at wynbtyk@embarqmail.com or call 540-570-3511.
All children must be an accompanied by an adult.
All materials and tools will be supplied.
Event will be held rain or shine.
Blue Ridge Heritage Education Center is located at 902 Rock Castle Gorge Road in Floyd, VA.
