Claytor Lake State Park presents Live Music with Joy Tru on Friday, July 26, 2019.
Please join us for a relaxing evening by the campfire! These three young men from Draper, VA will perform a wide variety of family friendly music from several decades. You will be surprised at the maturity in their song selection as well as their musical talent!
Joy Truskowski is a Roanoke, Virginia-based singer-songwriter who performs heartfelt, uplifting, honest, and playful acoustic indie folk pop originals and an eclectic variety of covers. Her voice carries the angelic soulfulness of Joan Baez and the exotic edginess of Grace Slick. She performs refreshing and catchy original indie folk pop songs.
"I sing from my heart. I experiment with my voice. I write intuitive, fun, pretty, and silly songs. I also play guitar, flute, percussion, and other things to back up my voice. I perform with a loop station so I can play various instruments, experiment, and harmonize with myself live."

This will be an outdoor event with all the materials necessary for enjoying S'mores by the campfire. Bench seating is available, but feel free to bring your own chairs and blankets.
This is a free event, but we will 'pass the hat' to assist with the band's expenses.
