Mike Young Basketball Camps at Virginia Tech presents a Full-Day Basketball Camp starting on Monday, August 5, 2019 through Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at the Hahn Hurst Basketball Practice Center at Virginia Tech from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm each day.
The camps will be led by Mike Young and his Virginia Tech Coaching Staff members and players. Coach Mike Young is the new Men's Basketball Coach at Virginia Tech and had previously served 17 years at Wofford University and led his 2018-2019 team to the NCAA Tournament and was named the 2019 Sporting News Coach of the Year.
Daily Schedule:
• 8:30 am: Doors Open
• 9:00 am: Roll Call
• 9:25 am: Warm ups: Ball Handling, Defensive Stance
• 9:40 am: Stations
• 10:30 am: Break
• 10:45 am: All-Camp Game
• 11:00 am: Drill Competition
• 11:55 am: Lunch
• 12:45 pm: Roll Call
• 1:00 pm: Hokie Shootout
• 1:30 pm: Games
• 2:55 pm: Camp Dismissed
• 3:00 pm: Camp Ends
Campers should dress comfortably each day in basketball attire and proper basketball or tennis shoes. Water will be provided. Lunch is provided for full-day campers while a snack will be provided for half-day campers. The Camp Store will also be available for the duration of camp with snacks and sports drinks available.
All campers will receive a Nike t-shirt upon check-in on the first day of camp.
The cost is $225.00 per camper.

The full day camp is open to rising 4th-9th graders.
The Hahn-Hurst Practice Center is located at 605 Washington Street in Blacksburg, VA on the campus of Virginia Tech.
