Description:
Claytor Lake State Park presents an Owl Prowl on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at the Interpretive Campfire Circle in Campground D.
Join Claytor Lake State Park rangers to learn all about the owls native to the park. After a brief discussion of Screech, Barred, and Great Horned Owls take a short walk into the night as we attempt to call the creatures in for a visit.
Will there be a campfire with toasted marshmallows? Sure! Please join us to find out 'Who will see who first?'
The event is free, but there is a $7.00 per vehicle parking fee for Virginia State Parks.
