New River Adventure, Inc. and Earth Day Network partnering with Radford University's Sustainability and Outdoor Programs present ReNew the New Radford 2019 with a Post Event Celebration on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Bisset Park.
Schedule:
• 8:00 am - 12:00 pm: Land & River Clean Up (For Volunteers)
• 12:00-6:00 pm: Music and Food Celebration (All Welcome)
• 2:00 pm: Barren Minds performs
• 4:00 pm: Jared Stout performs
Join us for our annual river cleanup! Volunteers will meet at Shelter 3 in Bisset Park for a land and river clean-up from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm. The first 100 volunteers to sign-up will receive a 2019 ReNew The New t-shirt. All volunteers who participated in the clean-up efforts will receive free Benny's Pizza from 12:00-2:00 pm and can enjoy $5.00 tube rentals until 4:00 pm from New River Adventure.
Following the clean-up, all are invited to enjoy live music, food and craft beer at Shelter #3. Live music will be provided by Barren Minds and Jared Stout along with adult beverages from our beer and cider sponsors Parkway Brewing, Lost Rhino Brewing and Crispin Cider Company. Food for the afternoon will be sold by Benny’s Pizza and Thai This Food Truck.
For those interested in drinking beer and cider, bring your own 16 oz stainless steel pint cup or purchase one for $7.00.

Wear clothing that will protect you from poison ivy and briars and no flip flops. Old tennis shoes and water shoes are the safest.
