Watch the Virginia Tech Women's Soccer team compete against non-conference opponent the University of Alabama on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at Thompson Field.

It's the Glowing for the Goal game! Fans are encouraged to wear neon clothing to the match and the first 200 fans will receive light-up foam glow sticks. Additionally members of the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets will be attending and compete in a “Cadets Crossbar Challenge” at halftime. The Fan of the Game will win an Amazon Echo.

Admission is free and all are welcome.

To provide a safer environment for spectators and to expedite fan entry in to Virginia Tech Athletic venues, Virginia Tech Athletics will implement a clear bag policy. The policy will allow for a better and quicker experience at gates and is also a public safety measure that is being successfully implemented at other large venues including fellow ACC venues.
