Claytor Lake State Park presents the Owl Prowl on Friday, September 6, 2019 at the Interpretive Circle in Campground D.
Join us for a campfire and free S'mores followed by an Owl Prowl! After a brief discussion of the owls native to the park, join the rangers on a short walk through the woods to find the nocturnal experts.
Rangers will use an electronic call to attempt to bring the owls to where we are. Which owls will show up? Who will see who first? Please join us at the Interpretive Circle in Campground D to find out!
The Virginia State Park parking fee of $7.00 per vehicle still applies. The event is free.
