Claytor Lake State Park presents Wilderness Survival 101 on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at the Interpretive Campfire Circle in Campground D.
Test your survival skills by pulling a survival task from a hat. You and your group can then attempt to complete the task using materials on hand and the Survival Guide provided by the park. Try your skills at campfire building, fire starting, first aid, etc. in preparation for a simple camping trip or the zombie apocalypse!
Fun for all ages.
Admission is free however the Virginia State Park parking fee of $7.00 per vehicle still applies.
