Description:
The Fine Arts Center for the New River Valley is happy to present Christiansburg artist Carrie Gilboy's first solo exhibit, "Arbitrarily Purposeful", with a reception on Sunday, September 22, 2019.
Carrie Gilboy participated in scholastic exhibits at the Fine Arts Center in her teens. Fortunately she continues to paint and push herself.
"The Current focus in my art is exploration and experimentation while trying to find "my" style. In this show, I've tried new mediums, color combinations, patterns, textures, shapes sizes and 3D elements. A large part of my inspiration comes from graffiti and other street art," said Carrie Gilboy.
Carrie's work is currently on display at the Center through October 4th. The reception is open to the public at no charge. Light refreshments will be served.
