The Bengali Students' Association (BSA) at Virginia Tech presents Durga Pujo on Saturday, September 28, 2019 inside the Commonwealth Ballroom located within the Squires Student Center on the campus of Virginia Tech.
Event Schedule:
• 11:30 AM: Puja Ceremony
• 1:30-2:30 PM: Bhog
• 2:30-4:30 PM: Cultural Show
• 5:00-6:30 PM: Dinner
Enjoy a day of family fun, festivities, food, dance and music on the occasion of Durga Pujo at Virginia Tech. The festival celebrates the victory of good over evil, light over darkness and love over hate.
We will have a cultural program following the Puja ceremony, an exhibition of Bengali handicrafts and a sumptuous Indian dinner. The cultural show will include dance forms from around the world in addition to traditional Indian art forms. Experience the flavor of Persian, Egyptian and Spanish classical dances along with traditional Indian art forms. We hope that you will enthusiastically participate in this celebration of the great Indian cultural extravaganza and make it a day to remember!
The dinner menu includes Fish Fry, Veg Pakora, Naan, Chola Masala, Polao, Chicken Korma, Paneer Butter Masala and Payesh.

Dinner tickets for adults are $19.00, $14.00 for Virginia Tech students and children under 10 are free.
