The Virginia Tech Alumni Association presents Pregame HokieTalks featuring the Climate on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at the Latham Ballroom within the Inn at Virginia Tech.
Speaker Lineup and Topics:
• "Climate and vector-borne disease" by Leah Johnson, College of Science
• "Tracking air pollution to aid the design of healthy neighborhoods" by Steve Hankey, College of Architecture and Urban Studies
• "The role of animals in climate change" by Robin White, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences
Our game day lecture series features top Virginia Tech faculty giving 10-minute talks followed by a Q&A session with the audience.
Admission is free and all are welcome.
Note: This event will be on Saturday morning because the Hokie Football Team plays on Friday night.
