Description:
The Radford Access to Community College Education (ACCE) Program presents the River City ACCE Community Triathlon on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Bisset Park in Radford, VA.
Schedule:
• 9:00 am: Day of Registration and Check-In
• 10:00 am: Start of Race
Kayak one mile, bike five miles and run and/or walk one mile. Participants can choose to race as an individual, an adult/child team with the child being between the ages of 6-16, as a three-person relay with each person completing a separate leg of the triathlon, as an organization or a non-competitive participant. Awards will be given out for the competitive classes.
The cost of entry is $30.00 for adults for individuals and teams and $15.00 for children competing in adult/child teams.

Participants are required to use the kayaks and life jackets provided by the event sponsors. Participant are required to provide their own bike and helmet.
All proceeds from this event will go to the Radford ACCE program. The Radford ACCE program is public/private partnership that makes college available debt-free to high school, home-schooled and private school graduates residing in the city of Radford. ACCE supports as many students as possible based on available funding. In return for the support they receive, ACCE students will complete at least 80 hours of community service work annually for the City of Radford.

Note: Entry fees and donations are non-refundable even if the event is cancelled due to weather.
