The Virginia Tech Alumni Association presents Pregame HokieTalks featuring Health on Friday, October 11, 2019 at the Latham Ballroom located within the Inn at Virginia Tech on the campus of Virginia Tech.

Speaker Lineup and Topics:
• "Cancer research: Dogs lead the way for cures in humans" by Nick Dervisis, College of Veterinary Medicine

• "Helping children learn to use damaged areas of their brain" by Stephanie DeLuca, Fralin Biomedical Research Institute

• "Making new and improved medicines available to patients: From the trees" by Kevin Edgar, College of Natural Resources and Environment

Our game day lecture series features top Virginia Tech faculty giving 10-minute talks followed by a Q&A session with the audience.

Admission is free and all are welcome.
