Preston's at The River Course presents the 4th Annual Shuck Yeah on Friday, October 11, 2019.

Enjoy an All You Can Eat Picnic Party with a menu of raw, baked and grilled oyster dishes, coconut breaded rockfish, waikiki grilled chicken, kids food options for ages 4-12 and more! The Antecedents in trio format will perform live music and there will be yard games including cornhole and ladder golf. There will also be a Blue Mountain Tap Takeover during the event.

The Antecedents are a heartfelt American roots, rock ‘n roll band from the mountains of Appalachia in Southwest Virginia. With three-part harmony leading the sound you will find yourselves emerged in the vibes of the singer-song writer.

The Antecedents began as a local duo and are now a six piece band dedicated to writing songs with substance, and depth. With influences ranging from all over the timeline of music this acoustic duo has found a unique but familiar approach to modern songwriting, while staying true to the format that captivates a listener's enjoyment. Performing folk, roots, pop, alternative and country.

Throughout 2017 they began opening for national acts, performing at renowned festivals and released their first full length record, “Long Way Home”. The band won the Flight to FloydFest Series in 2018 and earned FloydFest 2018's On the Rise featured act spot and after a fantastic performance have been invited back.
