Crimper's Climbing Gym presents the Seventh Annual !Venga! Indoor Climbing Competition on Saturday, November 2, 2019.

Schedule:
• 7:30 am: Doors Open
• 8:45 am: Mandatory Meeting for Youth Competitors
• 9:00 am - 1:00 pm: Youth Competition (8-18 years old)
• 1:30 pm: Awards for Youth Compmetition
• 1:00 pm: Doors Open for Citizen & College Competitors
• 1:50 pm: Mandatory Meeting for Citizen & College Competitors
• 2:00-5:00 pm: Citizen & College Competition
• 6:00 pm: Advance Finals (Top 3 Competitors for both Male & Female)

!Venga!, Crimper's annual bouldering competition, is the biggest event of the year to celebrate the climbing community you helped build. All levels of climbers are represented with problems set for beginners to expert level. There will have new holds, guest setters, a raffle, pizza and an exciting finals for the top climbers. We have hand made trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for Recreation, Intermediate, and Advanced categories.

!Venga! is a bouldering competition for every one and is a great time together. It will be a fun and supportive atmosphere to test your abilities in a red-point format. That means you have a three hour time limit to climb the hardest climbs you can. The only pressure is how hard you can try.

!Venga! features three categories: youth and collegiate sanctioned by USA Climbing (USAC), and citizens for anyone who wants to climb. !Venga! is for all levels of climbers. After the main competition the top male and female competitors will face-off in on-sight finals with a four minute limit per route.

!Venga! USAC Youth competition is a sanction local competition and will count towards USAC scores. Competitor or Introductory USAC Membership is required for all competitors during this event.

Citizens is the unsanctioned competition category. Competitors will be divided into Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced categories based on scores. The fun of competing is challenge your self, see how hard you can climb on new routes, in a specific time frame, with a bunch of other people doing the same challenge. The goal is to lift you up, get your new hardest send, and get a new tank-top.

The cost to compete is $35.00 for Citizen & College competitors and $40.00 for youth competitors and spots are limited for each of the three categories.

Crimper's Climbing Gym is the place to learn, practice, train, and perform the sport of indoor climbing. Indoor climbing builds physical strength and agility, while increasing mental fortitude and focus. Climbing, which has been growing in popularity, will be included in the Olympic games in 2020.
