Description:
UPDATE: In accordance with Governor Ralph Northam’s Executive Order 53 regarding the closure of non-essential establishments in the Commonwealth of Virginia, the Mill Mountain Zoo will suspend public operations starting on March 24, 2020 for the safety and wellness of our guests and staff.

Along with the Zoo grounds, all education and public programs have been cancelled or postponed.

Mill Mountain Zoo presents Party for the Planet on Saturday, April 25, 2020.

Celebrate Earth Day with Mill Mountain Zoo and the Clean Valley Council. Chat with zookeepers and participate in neat earth friendly art activities for the whole family!

Plus as part of the Art to Rescue the River program, see the unveiling of a very unique sculpture made from litter cleaned out of the river with artist Katherine Devine.

All activities are included with zoo admission.
