Jessie Peterman Library presents Movies at the Library with the film "Harriet" on Thursday, February 27, 2020.

In honor of Black History Month, we will be showing the new movie based on the life of slave-turned-abolitionist, Harriet Tubman. This extraordinary tale of her escape from slavery and transformation into one of America's greatest heroes, whose courage, ingenuity, and tenacity freed hundreds of enslaved people and changed the course of history.

The film is rated PG-13.
