UPDATE: The Shamrock 4 Miler and Lucky Little Leprechaun Dash will not happen. Even though we came up with a great plan to create social space at the start and eliminated contact between volunteers and participants we can’t assure we wouldn’t be complicit in helping spread the Coronavirus. We need to do everything as a community and country to stop the spread. So we regret that we will not be holding the event.

RunAbout Sports presents the 3rd Shamrock 4 Miler and Lucky Little Leprechaun Fun Dash on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Blacksburg High School.

Race Schedule:
• 7:30 am - 8:50 am: Race Day Registration and Packet Pick-Up
• 9:00 am: Shamrock 4 Miler Start
• 10:00 am: Lucky Little Leprechaun Starts
• 10:15 pm: Shamrock Awards

The race takes place on roads and bike trails through Stroubles Mill, Hethwood, and the Fox Ridge neighborhoods. Four-mile participants receive a long-sleeve shirt and finisher medal. And, the best leprechaun costume wins a free pair of shoes! So make sure to wear your green and costumes if you want.

The Little Lucky Leprechaun Dash is free and takes place at the Blacksburg High School track. Registration is free and will take place at the event until 9:50 am. Shirts will be available for purchase for $10.00 while supplies last.

Registration can be made online, by mail or in person at Runabout Sports located at 1470 South Main Street, Suite #100 in Blacksburg, VA within the First & Main Shopping Center.

Cash or check payment is preferred. A $2.00 processing fee must be applied to card payments. Checks can be made to Blacksburg Striders with the runner’s name in the memo section.

Awards will be given out for the overall top three male and female finishers and by age groups and teams.
