Description:
Virginia Tech presents a Tech on Tap event titled "The Ripple Effect: Food in the Time of COVID-19" on Thursday, May 28, 2020.
The Tech on Tap speaker series will host another virtual event. The COVID-19 pandemic has affected the food industry in many interesting ways. Food supply chains have been disrupted, the food service industry has had to adapt or redirect, and many are cooking at home more now than at any point in their lives.
Join four faculty members from the Virginia Tech Department of Food Science and Technology for a discussion on the changing landscape of food safety and preservation.
Admission is free though registration is required.
