The Town of Christiansburg Farmers' Market presents the Christiansburg Farmers' Market with Music from Drew Dodson on Thursday, August 6, 2020.

Enjoy music from Drew Dodson from 4:00-7:00 pm.

Drew Dodson, a talented singer and musician from Southwest Virginia, is a student at James Madison University studying Music Education. He brings a great variety of covers ranging from Americana to pop to R&B to rock all with his own soulful and funky touch! Drew’s stage presence and ability to connect with the audience is that of a seasoned musician.

He started performing at an early age. At 14 he played bass guitar and provided backup vocals in an adult classic rock band. At 16 he decided to go out on his own to perform solo acoustic sets at local restaurants and any place that would have him. Since then, Drew’s been playing breweries, restaurants and other venues from Tennessee to Northern Virginia.

The 2020 Christiansburg Farmers Market occurs every Thursday from 3:00-7:00 pm on Hickok Street in downtown Christiansburg, Virginia.

The Christiansburg Farmers Market is back for its 2020 season with some adjustments to ensure the safety of our vendors and customers. The market will be open every Thursday from 3:00-7:00 pm on Hickok Street from May 21st to October 22nd.

This year, we’re introducing online ordering which will allow customers to prepay for items and pick them up on market day. Please visit https://www.christiansburg.org/marketshop for more information.

While we encourage customers to utilize online ordering whenever possible, our vendors will still be set up on Hickok Street each Thursday during market hours. The entrances and exits of the market will be staffed to ensure only 10 people are in the market area at a time. We will enforce social distancing guidelines by spacing vendors 10 feet apart, allowing only one person per family into the market area at a time and ensuring there is no mingling.

Admission is free and all are welcome.
