Professional bluegrass artist, Jacob Wright, will perform and discuss the influence of bluegrass music on day-to-day life. His 30-minute presentation will be followed by a time for questions and answers. This is a preview of the full LLI course that Jacob will be offering in the fall.

A Blacksburg native, Jacob learned to play banjo at age 14, and graduated from East Tennessee State University in 2019 with a degree in Bluegrass, Old Time and Country Music Studies. He is now the full-time banjo player with Larry Sparks and the Lonesome Ramblers.
