Historic Smithfield presents their Spirit Of America: 2020 Independence Day Celebration on Saturday, July 4, 2020.

Help us ring in July 4, 2020 by spending the day at a house that saw the beginning of a new nation! While onsite, enjoy house tours, shop in our Museum Store and observe artillery displays and blacksmith demonstrations in our onsite forge.

At 1:00 pm, gather for an Independence Day Ceremony featuring traditional excerpts from the Declaration of Independence and Frederick Douglass, followed by a rousing cannon fire salute.

Ticket prices are general admission and can be purchased on site or in advance online.
