The Moss Arts Center at Virginia Tech continues their online series the Moss Vault with The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain in concert starting on Monday, June 22, 2020 at 5:00 pm through Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at midnight.

Just because you can’t currently attend performances in the Moss Arts Center's spectacular theatre doesn’t mean you can’t experience unforgettable music, dance, and theatre right where you are.

For a limited time, we’re raising the curtain on past performances from our archives. Find a new performance here each week. Each performance will only be available for two days, so don’t miss your chance to see what we’ve released from our video vault.

Formed in 1985 as a bit of fun, the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain's first gig was an instant sell-out, and the orchestra has been performing ever since. Over the last 30 years, it has spawned hundreds of imitators; indeed, the orchestra often is blamed for the current ukulele revival sweeping communities across the globe. The current ensemble has been playing together for more than 20 years and has become a much-loved national institution. The members play ukuleles, they sing, they say funny things, they whistle; but they bring a lot more to the table than that. The "Ukes" are an irresistible entertainment juggernaut that bring us good humor, well-being, and joy with their music.
