The Newport Jamboree presents their 11th Season Jamboree Kickoff featuring the music of County Connection on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at the Newport Community Park.

Enjoy bluegrass music by the Sinking Creek.

The County Connection is a four piece bluegrass band which is Catawba based. Its members include Pam Landreth on bass, Frank Garman on guitar, Garry Williams on banjo and Melvin Linkous on fiddle.

The Ruritan Club will not sell concessions at this event so feel free to pack a picnic.

We will ask for a $5.00 donation from each adult to cover the bands and pay for the park rental. Kids under 12 get in free.

Bathrooms will be open and extra sanitizer on hand. Masks are recommended as is social distancing according to public gathering guidelines.

Bring a chair, pack a swimsuit and invite a friend.

The Village of Newport Ruritan Park is conveniently located 1.4 miles down Highway 42 / 650 Bluegrass Trail keep your eyes peeled for the signs off of 460 West.
