Description:
Diamonds Softball hosts Open Tryouts for ages 8-18 on Sunday, August 9, 2020 at Kipps Elementary School starting at 4:00 pm.

We are seeking young women (ages 8-18) who love to play softball, put team before self, and exhibit exceptional sportsmanship to join our travel softball organization! Join us for open tryouts for 10u, 12u, 14u and 16u teams.

What to Bring?
• Softball Glove
• Bat
• Softball Mask
• Cleats / Spikes
• Water
• Catchers Equipment for those who play the catcher position

Our organization follows strict protocols for the health and safety of our athletes and coaches. Health checks are required before practices and equipment is washed after. Each athlete is required to have her own equipment. Social distancing is required during warmups and skill development. We encourage mask usage.

The New River Valley Diamonds is a competitive girls fastpitch softball organization dedicated to preparing its players for the next levels of both softball and life. Our organization prepares players for high school and college not only by developing their softball skills on the field, but off the field as well through an equally important emphasis on Christian-based principles, academic achievement, and community service.

The Diamonds know that its players must develop physically, mentally, and academically and provides young athletes with opportunities from the ages of 8 to 18 (10U to 18U).
