Description:
Montgomery County ACCE presents the 2020 Virtual Race for ACCE starting on Friday, August 7, 2020 through Sunday, August 9, 2020.

The 2020 Race for ACCE will be held as a virtual event over a three day period of time where participants can run/walk their own 5K or fun mile and submit their results online through a Google form. Participants can complete the virtual race anywhere and anytime during the three day period. We will still honor the top runner in each age group with a medal that will be shipped or hand delivered to them.

Race for ACCE provides scholarships for Montgomery County high school graduates to attend New River Community College (NRCC). Participating students must complete 80 community service hours each year and maintain a 2.5 GPA in their NRCC coursework.

The cost for the race is $25.00 per person or $60.00 for a family of three or more. The Children's Fun Run is $10.00 per child.

Registration includes a race t-shirt. Those who register by July 8th will have their t-shirt by race weekend. You can choose to have them shipped or shirts can be picked up locally in Blacksburg during race week.

All registrants will receive an email during race week with shirt pick up details and a link to a google form where finish times can be reported. All age group first place winners will receive a medal. All children who submit a fun mile time will be entered to win one of ten raffle prizes!

Note: Due to Covid-19 and social distancing guidelines, we are not gathering together nor are we encouraging groups of people to do so on their own.
