Description:
The Intellectual Disabilities Agency of the New River Valley will host the 23rd Annual Golf Classic at the Blacksburg Country Club on Monday, August 10, 2020.

Schedule:
• 12:00 pm: Check In
• 1:00 pm: Tee-Off

The golf tournament is a four men/women captain's choice with a shotgun start. Individual players will be assigned to a team. All local rules apply.

Prizes include:
• Longest Drive on Hole #10
• Ball Closest to Pin on Holes #3, #7, #11 & #15
• First Place
• Second Place
• Third Place
• Highest Score

The cost is $75.00 per person and includes lunch, entry gift, greens fee and golf cart.

Mulligans will be sale for $5.00 each with a limit of two per person or one per team. No mulligans will qualify for hole prizes.

CoVid-19 has put IDA in severe financial straits. Losing over $20,000 in fundraising means we need and depend on your help with this golf tournament. Proceeds from this event stay in the community to help meet the needs of a deserving group of people who have few opportunities to achieve a "balanced" life.

The Intellectual Disabilities Agency of the New River Valley provides a variety of programs including social, recreational, educational activities throughout the year for children and adults with an intellectual disability who live in the New River Valley area of southwest Virginia. Such programs address the human need for a balanced life that combines not only rest and work, but also meaningful leisure pursuits.

The agency, started by parents who were seeking services and programs for their loved ones, believes individuals deserve access to opportunities and resources available to all others. Therefore, our agency also provides advocacy supports to promote such access.
