Eric Gress is a singer and song writer from Pulaski, VA and one of Southwest Virginia's greatest homegrown musicians. Writing since he was 12 years old and playing any instrument he touched from the time he was two Eric has quite the catalog of music in his file. Rock music is what started his writing career at an early age and kept him traveling and playing. In Late 2013 he decided to step away from the rock world and try country for a change.
After writing a full album for the band Buck Nelson, Eric decided to separate himself from the band and take a walk down the solo artist road for a change. Since then he has been plugging away with writing, recording and playing as many shows as possible. With the new music he has written he hopes to catch the ears of friends, fans and anyone else who shares the love of music.
He has shared the stage and opened for Travis Tritt, Tyler Farr, Luke Combs and Old Crow Medicine Show. Eric has fans all across southeastern United States, and plays regularly in Nashville, Tennessee, as well as other states and is a member of popular country band Crawford & Power.
“To me, music is something that everyone in the world relates to. It can make you smile and it can make you cry but most of all its something 20,000 strangers can agree on at one time in a packed arena.. that is a beautiful thing.”

https://www.twitter.com/EricGressmusicThe Groove Houndz is a band based in the New River Valley performing Americana, blues, bluegrass, newgrass, country, folk, Motown and rock.
They seek performers at music festivals and at regional shows that are fan favorites. Then the the best songs are groovehoundifed to match their skill sets. They also perform songs that are "sing a long" friendly.
Their goal is to entertain with music at a tasteful volume level that is fun and engaging for us, our listeners, and the venues.
Band members include Steve Novak, Bob Piscura and Melanie Robinson. Steve Novak is a great vocalist whose guitar skills reinforce the "groove". Bob Piscura uses an electric bass and "porch board" stomp box to drive the beat and Harmonica to reinforce the lyrics of a song. Melanie Robinson adds the haunting sounds of the violin and toe tapping sound of the fiddle.
"Bob and Steve and Melanie live for the grooves They perform up to 10 different genres in every show! There are well known songs that they "groove-ify" often with a twist and great tunes from little know acts they find at music festivals and just from being immersed in music. They know how to entertain and dial their show up or down to match the audience and venue" -- quote from John Ross
