The Pembroke Volunteer Fire Department hosts Rodney Freeman's Benefit Drive-Thru on Saturday, September 12, 2020.

Rodney Freeman’s Benefit Hot Dog Drive-Thru will be starting at 10:00 am until the food is gone! All proceeds will go directly to Rodney.

Rodney Freeman's house caught on fire and caused an extensive amount of damage. For those who do not know, Rodney Freeman is a legend in the family of Giles County First Responders. Rodney is a retired officer after many years of service in the Pearisburg Police Department. He has also been a member of Pembroke Volunteer Fire Department and is a current Life Member of Giles Lifesaving and Rescue Squad. He has trained several first responders serving currently in our community of Giles County and surrounding areas. He also gives his time as an Assistant Director of Kendall Funeral Home in Pembroke.

If you could, please help lighten the load for him over the next few months while he repairs his home. Anything helps and nothing is too small.

We are also taking donations for supplies or money that could go directly to the event.
