UPDATE: Tonight's parade has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled.

The Blacksburg Parks and Recreation Department presents the Town of Blacksburg 2020 Reverse Holiday Parade on Friday, December 4, 2020 taking place the 900 Block of Patrick Henry Drive in Blacksburg, VA.

Due to the impacts of Covid-19 and limited gatherings, the town will be staging a reverse parade where entries are stationary and spectators drive by to view them. This year’s theme is North Pole Fantasy.

The Reverse Parade will be held along the 900 block of Patrick Henry Drive. Parade participants will form a line and spectators will be able to drive along the route and see the parade.

Floats will be following social distancing guidelines, and the number of people on floats is limited according to the size of their float.

Admission is free and all are welcome.

Please do not park to watch the parade. Attendees must stay in their vehicles.

In the event of inclement weather, the Town of Blacksburg will decide by early December 4th afternoon if the parade will be held. If the parade is cancelled, there will be no rescheduled date.
