Virginia Tech Alumni presents an online HokieTalk titled "Virginia Tech and COVID-19" on Tuesday, December 8, 2020.
Join us for a virtual event where Virginia Tech experts will explore our community response to COVID-19. We'll explore travel during the pandemic, shared trauma and shared resilience, and connections to the the 1918 flu pandemic and COVID-19.
Panelists include:
• Facilitator: M. Daniel Givens, Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine
• Tom Ewing, professor of history, associate dean graduate studies research, College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences
• Trish Haak, licensed clinical social worker, veterinary medicine clinical services, Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine
• Nancy McGehee, department head, professor, hospitality and tourism, Pamplin College of Business
